Writing an Impressive History Essay
Monday, November 16, 2009 in All About Essay by Cwriter | No Comments |
History is a very interesting subject to learn but it will be easy only if you have a good memory. It is a very tedious task to memorize so many dates and places related to events recorded in history. The main challenge in studying history is that you are learning about real people and actual events of the past. This leaves no space of speculations or errors. History essays also become a bit difficult to handle if you are not genuinely interested in the subject.
If you are a history student, try to pay a lot of attention to the lectures. It is important for students of all subjects to be attentive in class but in history it is even more necessary. It might get extremely difficult to find out the information later for reference, if you are not sure of where the data belongs. While writing a history essay you will have to know the sources and possible references, which will usually be mentioned by professors during lectures. So if you take note of all the important points in class, it will help you while you are working on your writing assignments.
The most important thing to understand about history is that, even though it is all about real facts, there are also certain events or incidents which are recorded without proof. Those are still under debate due to lack of evidence. It is important to know if the topic given to you, is one that has been proved or not. If it is a proved fact you will be expected to give more details on the established facts on the topic. In case it is a controversial fact, you might have to give the details of the debated facts on it. Either way, you need to give the information with references and available proof because solid evidence is that, which forms the base of history.
While taking down dates, be extra careful and check it once again before you wind up for the day. It is very easy to make a mistake while noting down the dates, especially when you have been staring at so many of them all day. And if you make a mistake with the dates, all your efforts will go waste because the accuracy of dates is of vital importance while writing a history essay.
Also, remember to note down the sources as and when you pick information from them because it will be difficult for you to go back and look for the source. Cite the sources according to the style mentioned in the guidelines.
Another most important thing to remember while working on a history assignment is to check the spellings of the names of people and places. Again, the people and places are as important as dates when it comes to history.
History essays, research papers and term papers will be regularly assigned to you for assessment purposes. Be prepared to spend a lot of time in library, finding accurate information on the given topic. Without due effort, you will not be able to write an impressive history essay.

How to Write a Character Analysis
Saturday, November 7, 2009 in All About Essay by Cwriter | No Comments |
Writing assignments will keep coming up every now and then during your academic curriculum. There will be research papers, term papers and essays of different types and genres. These writing assignments will be concentrated on your main subject even though you will be doing some of them on your languages and other subjects. For English literature students, literature essays will be a regular exercise. They will deal with different types of essays as they are specializing in the language. Character analysis is one type of essay literature students will have to get familiar with.
Writing a character analysis is slightly different from the other essays. The structure will remain the same as other essays with an introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion, but the contents of these will differ from normal essays.
As the name suggests, this type of essay will focus on a particular character or all the characters in a particular book. The guidelines will specify whether you have to study one character and analyze it or you have to give an analytical report of all the characters in that book. If you have been asked to write a character analysis of one character, then the task is relatively simple.
Read the book at least twice to determine the role played by the character in question. Reading once will not give you a focused idea of the character. You have to give a detailed analysis of the character’s nature, the role and its entry and exit in the book, as applicable. Give an analytical review of how the character has influenced the story or the book. Discuss if the character has had a negative impact or a positive one. Give your view on whether the rest of the characters and story has been affected by that. You are allowed to discuss anything and everything that could be directly related to the character.
You will also need to evaluate the relation of the other characters to this particular character. You will need to figure out whether any of them needs to be mentioned in your analysis of the specific character. It is preferable to avoid mentioning other characters when the analysis is to be done on a single character. But sometimes it becomes inevitable to mention one or two of them to justify the analysis of the one in question. That is acceptable but do not detail on any characters other than the one in question. Digressing off into other characters will not only waste your space but also take the focus off the given character, thus making it look less like an analysis of that character and more like that, of all the characters in the book.
Understanding the guidelines and applying them to the point is the key to being able to write a very good essay. A character analysis is a rather simple task and if you just put in a little bit of effort, you can score very well in this particular type of writing assignment. You might also be asked to write research papers which come under the genre of character analysis. But the basic rule remains the same – study the character well and give a detailed analysis.

Importance of Preparing a Research Paper Outline
Saturday, October 24, 2009 in Research Paper Writing Guide by Cwriter | No Comments |
One of the regular writing projects assigned to you during your academic course will be that of writing a research paper. Even though there are guidelines about how the research paper should look while being presented, there are no rules for the method of research paper writing. You can do your research in whichever way it is convenient for you. But while writing the research paper, there are certain methods which might help you do it in an easier and better way. Preparing a research paper outline is one of those factors which will save you many other troubles in the later stages of your research paper writing.
Many students keep their research paper writing for the day before the deadline. If that is the situation, then you will not have time proceed step-by-step or even in a reasonable way. You will be left with no option but to fill the sheets with whatever information you can find in that short period of time. And research papers written hastily are almost always a failure.
But if you are one of those who try to make the best out of every minute they have, then you can do it slowly and one step at a time. One of these steps which comes between the collection of necessary information and preparing the rough draft is that of preparing a research paper outline. Most students don’t bother with this step because they don’t find it important enough. But they are wrong.
The points you collect towards your research ought to be organized in such a way that it flows legibly from the introduction to the conclusion. It is not possible to find the information in any particular order. Hence it will be more sensible to arrange it all into a smoothly flowing order after you are done with your research and before it is elaborated. If you start elaborating it into a rough draft from a jumble of points, you will find that you end up with a poorly organized paper which is difficult to be sorted out as it is already fully elaborated. Moving a paragraph is, logically, much more difficult than moving a point.
A research paper outline will give you an easy overview of your work and help you make changes easily. It will give you an idea of the proportion of the collected information to that of the page limit. This, in turn, will give you a rough idea of how much you can afford to expand on each of the points. That way, you will have less to edit when you finally reach the task of preparing the final draft.
An outline will also help you spot any accidental digressions before you have wasted your precious time expanding irrelevant points. Considering all this, you can say that a good research paper outline is half the job done. And it will also see you effortlessly through the other half.
If you are too tight for time to prepare a research paper outline, you can take help from professionals. With a little help from the right people you can prepare an outstanding research paper, essay or term paper.

There are certain things you should consider before deciding to do a tourism dissertation. Tourism is one of the most interesting subjects to research on. But if you think it is as easy as going on a holiday or visiting a tourist destination, you will be in for a shock. It is not only a very complex subject but it also requires extensive research and dedication on your part to prepare an impressive tourism dissertation.
A few things which you might want to consider, before setting out to do a tourism dissertation are:
• Your interest in the subject.
• Your basic knowledge of the subject.
• Your access to the necessary research materials.
• How well you will be able to handle the subject.
Your interest in the topic is what matters the most while you are doing a tourism dissertation because it can get quite difficult to find the roots of issues related to the subject. Do not misunderstand your interest in a holiday or in travelling as that of interest in tourism. If your interest in tourism is limited to that of visiting holiday destinations and relaxing under the sun, then you might as well find another subject for your research.
But if you are sure that your interest lies, not only in tourist spots, but also in those factors which make it a tourist spot, then you are on the right track. It is a great choice for you to do a tourism dissertation as it is one of the most sought after topics for research.
Even though it could be a very interesting subject to research on, it is not exactly a very easy task. It is important to understand the challenges that a topic might present, before finalizing it. For that you need to know the basics of the subject. For example, tourism being something typical to a region or nation, certain topics might require you to travel to a certain place to collect the necessary information. If you are not prepared for that, then you should consider some other topic which could be researched without travelling.
For the same reason that tourism is region specific, the research materials might not all be accessible to you easily. It is better to make sure that you have access to all the necessary stuff before choosing the topic. A lot of information is available on the net. So remember to check out that source also.
It is also important to check if you are capable of comprehending and handling that particular topic. Some topics are extremely complex to deal with and it is fully up to you to decide whether the topic you wish to choose will suit you or not.

Tourism Dissertation Topics
It is very interesting to write a tourism dissertation due to the variety of topics available and because of the scope of the subject. Tourism has managed to climb to the top of the list of the most researched topics. You will also find that tourism, as a subject for research, has many advantages compared to the topics in certain other subjects. There are many factors which contribute to its place among the most preferred subjects for research.
The main aspect which makes tourism a wise choice for research is the opportunities it presents for the practical application of your research outcome. If your thesis contains valuable and useful information, your hard work will get paid off when it gets used for the development of the industry. And the knowledge that the result of your months of hard work will see more light than the research papers in certain other topics, will be an encouragement for you throughout your research.
Tourism is one subject which will give you an unlimited number of topics to choose from. The nature and aspects of tourism differ from country to country. This explains the wide variety of topics available for research, under this subject. Before you set out to choose the topic, you need to understand the basics of tourism.
Tourism is all about how certain places of interest become accessible and more interesting for tourists, thus making them tourist destinations. The base of a nation’s or state’s tourism rests upon many pillars. The scenic resources, weather conditions, political stability, accessibility, transport facilities and availability of daily resources are some of them. The growth of the tourism industry in a nation depends completely upon these factors and also on many indirect contributors like its environmental, mythological and infrastructural factors.
You will find many nations failing to make any progress at all in the tourism field even on having an abundance of scenic resources. If you research into the causes, you will find that any one or more of the other factors are missing, which will prove to be the reason for its lack of progress as a tourist country. It will be interesting to choose a country which is struggling to find its foothold in the tourism industry and research on what is stopping it from making enough progress.
You might also find topics available under each of those factors which are directly or indirectly related to tourism. You can also consider researching on the role of tourism in the growth of a particular nation, of which, the economy is supported mainly by tourism. You could write about what could be done to ensure that the tourist industry in that particular nation remains profitable enough to sustain the country.
There are more topics available under tourism, according to your research interests. If you need help with tourism related topics or with your tourism dissertation, our writers will be able to help you. We also provide assistance with research paper writing, term paper writing and all other types of academic writing assignments.
