How to Write Theses
A thesis is the combination of a conceptual framework with some data, information, arguments, and evidences for the purpose of obtaining results and recommending prescriptions or directions for the future strategies and planning. Thesis is the single research work whereas theses meant a set of thesis works. There are different kinds of thesis, for instance, history thesis dealt with historical components, sociology thesis dealt with sociological or societal phenomenon, marketing thesis dealt with the necessities and consequences of marketing of products and so on.
In writing a good thesis, following things should be duly considered. A good thesis should be contestable with an arguable point by means of which people are given the option to reasonably disagree with that proposition or thesis statement. It is logically thought that in writing a good thesis, the researcher is to concentrate on making it much thought provoking.
In addition, the researcher is aimed at presenting the solid grounds in supporting the research topic so that the research topic or thesis statement can itself be justified and worth a certain degree of appreciation and evaluation implying the solid foundation and merits of it. The researcher should have an attentive look so that the thesis topic can adequately meet the contents of the thesis. The whole attempt should be rounded on making the thesis specific and focused. This is so necessary in order to make the thesis standard one and ensure its excellence in the relevant field. The data, information, arguments, explanation and findings all that obtained in the thesis should have clear assertion that strongly supports the conclusions and future directions or strategies. The researcher should design his thesis in such a mode so that it can supply its readers a guide for the appreciation of the attempted thesis work. A good thesis deserves the feature of anticipation and rebuttal of the counter arguments that may arise from the said thesis work. The messages of the thesis should be reached to its readers for justifying its merits. So, using vague language should be avoided so that it can not bother rather provide comfort and conveniences to the readers. The grammatical errors should be avoided. Summarily speaking, first of all brainstorming is the essential to determine the topic or substance of the thesis as it can help in exploring ideas, methods and problems identified in a research to develop it and draw some outstanding result which may imbue others to undertake further research initiatives. This would widely help in designing some hypotheses for rendering the thesis into a better one. Then, the content of the proposed research topic should sparingly be designed and submit it to the supervisor for justifying the merit of the paper. Rather, a background study over the topic should be developed. Again, the problem statement should be sorted out so that the potential hypotheses can be easily identifiable. In addition, all important data and bibliography should be properly cited. For the conveniences and proper understanding notes should be inserted in a formulated way which can help in analyzing the problem and reaching some conclusions and recommendations that are derived as finding of the attempted research.
